Parent consent
Before Phira saves a child profile, stores a Genius Map, or links lesson evidence to a paid account, a parent or guardian must give consent. Policy version: 2026-06-09-v0.
What consent covers
- Creating a child profile on a parent account.
- Storing lesson observations for parent-readable Genius Maps.
- Optional email updates about your child's progress.
- Billing, only if you choose a paid plan.
What we do not claim
Phira observations describe moments we noticed — not a medical, school, or gifted verdict. We do not label children with intelligence-test, medical, rank, or scoring language.
Record consent
How consent will work at launch
At launch, a parent will verify email, choose an age band, select consent scopes, and agree to the current policy version. You may revoke consent later; we will stop new collection and delete or anonymize per our retention policy.
Access and delete
Parents may request access to or deletion of consent records and linked child data by contacting our privacy contact or using the form on the parents privacy page.
Demo today
The free demo does not require parent consent because it does not create a saved child profile or account-linked Genius Map. Minimal anonymous events may still be stored on this browser.
